ISLAMABAD: The government cleared Rs. 80 billion project for western route of (CPEC)China-Pakistan Economic Corridor to further enhance the development schemes

The (CDWP) Central Development Working Party recommended the replication of track on the Kuchlak-Zhob section N-50 highway, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Planning

The proposed road is part of the western alignment of CPEC that will connect Kuchlak, Muslim Bagh and Qilla Saifullah areas.

The Kuchlak-Zhob section was cleared earlier over the fate of another western route, Dera Ismail Khan-Zhob section of N-50, due to lack of funding.

The CDWP approved Rs67.6 billion for the construction of road and another Rs11 billion for the procurement of land. The project involves increasing tracks and upgrading the existing lanes which have 300 KM distance on the Kuchlak-Zhob section of N-50 to extended highway lanes.
