To pick up trash from the outside of homes, The Islamabad Metropolitan Corporation has decided to initiate cleanliness tax. The tax has been imposed all across the Capital City Area. The cleanliness of the entire city inducing rural areas require approximately 2 billion rupees per year which now will be collected from the citizens in the form of tax.
The decision has been approved by Islamabad Mayor Sheikh Ansar Aziz on Tuesday.
