Due to coronavirus spread, the government has suspended all kinds of air operations including domestic, chartered and private flights in the country until April 02, 2020.
Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) announced that all domestic, chartered and private flights will be suspended for now. Cargo shipments and some other special permitted trips are allowed in extended circumstances to fly.
A week earlier, Pakistan suspended international flight operations for two weeks to stop spread of the coronavirus and plan concrete measures to provide medical services.
The decision was taken after Pakistan reported eight deaths from novel coronavirus while the total number of cases have surged in recent days in Pakistan.
